WP7 vs. Android

I was set on getting a Windows Phone 7 device.  Microsoft has some kinks to work out.   I was talking shit about Android,  I may have to take it back.   Google has had  2-3 years to develop the ecosystem.  There are problems with the whole SD card reader.   I will use my upgrade and get a My touch 4G or My touch HD as it is now known.   If Google puts some polish on the OS and refines it with Gingerbread and Honeycome, I will stick with Andy.  I'm liking the GTab (Galaxy Tablet) more and more.  I have played with it and the HSPA does make a difference on the speed of things.
A GTab and a Boxee Box could make cable obsolet.  I can't wait for Hulu Plus and Netflix to officilly
launch to make this purchase an essential for the need to have media device.

The Boxee Box is one of the most highly anticipated devices to come out ...

Introduction

Honeycomb

Things could be changing for Android.   With the LG tablet announcement, It seems that Google is responding to the criticism that there is no support for Android tablets.   When the Galaxy Tab gets the Honeycomb update, this  does change things.  For once early adopters will not be punished.  Of course this will depend on the update coming in a timely manner.

LG Tab

It looks like LG could be the one to get the Tab done right:

Windows Phone 7 OS

Some are quick to write off the new WP7 OS.  For those like me who are carefully considering their 1st smartphone purchase this is a viable choice.  WP7 gives an alternative to the polished IOS and the Fragmented
Android Ecosystem.  Microsoft does not have to advertise as being better than Apple to compete.  WP7 will have an opportunity for market share as long as they focus on the strengths of Windows.   There is a little known fact about WP7,  it will soon have Mac sync support from Microsoft.   Not everyone who likes Mac computers loves the Iphone.  I for one need an alternative with a larger screen.   Android is rumored to have a revamped User Interface in the next update.  Android must definitely get more polish.  Will WP7 move on to gain market share with greater significance?  Time will tell.

Stay thirsty my Friends!
